Right, time for a new car i think!
After something diesel and not too much slower than the 182, i know it will drive completely different though.
I do about 50 miles a day, 250 a week and pretty much all on the motorway (stuck in traffic) so i want something with good mpg
Im looking at either a Leon 1.9tdi - 150bhp - 52mpg - 236ft/lbs
Ibiza Cupra 1.9tdi - 157bhp - 51mpg - 243ft/lbs
Fabia VRS 1.9tdi - 130bhp - 53mps - 229ft/lbs
All very similar! Whatever i get i will be remaping to get some more power and mpg. Are they all the same engine somewhat?
Which of the above would you guys get? The fabia kinda looks abit boring, and im not too sure on the back of the ibiza, but im upto doing a couple of mods.
Any other sugestions aswell?

VRS
Interior feels a bit more classy (apart from the badge - can of worms)

Cupra, better brakes as standard, better bushes as standard, better seats as standard, FMIC as standard, bigger turbo as standard, get where Im going? Will map to about 200bhp but you will need a new clutch to get the most. You will be leaving 182's with that power.

Vrs, I've had that and an ibiza gr and the fabia was better.
Fabia with a remap is as fast as your 182.

As you should know the Cupra has many of the fabia/fr flaws covered (brakes, bushes, turbo, fmic)

Cheers guys, still not sure but the cupra is very well reviewed by a lot of owners, and the back is starting to grow on me
The more i look at the vrs, the more i think its something my grandad would drive, just looks too boring

IMO although the Cupra will be more expensive, its the better car. If it was the Ibiza FR vs the VRs, its purely down to taste, but the Cupra has all the main downfalls sorted over the FR/VRs so it seems stupid to pick a worser car.
Edit, its a non-biased opinion, I like VRs's might even have my dads when he gets rid!

Fabia vRS all day long... Out and out track/rally car. Blisteringly fast and handles like its on rails whilst returning 50mpg+. Need I say any more?

Only blisteringly fast if you spend £££££ tuning them.

Ibiza Cupra, Antnee has covered it imo. Anything that went wrong on any other vag models the cupra seems to have it sorted. Get a clutch fitted with an enlarged downpipe and should see you for stage 2 power
