booking the 2nd lads hol of the year tomorrow and it was going to be malia BUT:

I've read that alot of the hotels want to charge you between 20-50 euros if you bring people back? Is it true?

In kos a month ago it was fine and you could bring whoever back before and after the night out which is how it should be imo.

if its really that bad then we might go zante instead but ive already been there twice.

I went last year, and 2008.

Both ones i stayed at had security guards to stop you getting folk in but i decided to nail 2 girls who were in the same hotel so i didnt have a problem

Have you been before?? I stayed at illios apartments (its part of the 'help bar' on the strip), and four seasons which is abit of a trek in the old town. Its probably only 10 min walk to the strip but when your blind its so much effort

Some good clubs in Malia. We never paid an admin fee to bring females back to the hotel, however that was in 2007

Thats the one we would be staying at if we go. Never been malia before hence why we chose there. Girls staying in same place would be cool but you never know your luck of the draw, seen reviews where mass groups have stayed there but id probably get stuck with sausages

How was it aside from the security guard bull? and is it only night time they dont let you or 24hr?

fro - it was just at night time. Yer there is a couple! The bloke who owns it has got about 4 hotels, a few restruants and a few take aways.

The one i stayed at (im sure its illios apartments, and not illios apartments two or illios malia or the likes), half of it was on the back of the help bar and half of it was across the road (bearing in mind the road is about 5 meters wide) which is next to a take away place which is also his.

He use to let me bring take away from across there and sit at the bar because i would be constantly drunk by 8 o clock at night when everyone is thinking about going back to get changed

Ill have a butchers on google now.

Found it, they have updated the rooms loads! I only wouldn't recommend it as it is about a 2 min taxi ride to the strip so was a little out the way.
