As above? Just wondering how many people donate?

I give £3 a month to rspca as I got fed up of people guilt tripping me for months surrounding children in need. I don't want to give money to Africa, so that their corrupt dictatorships can keep there main goal of shooting people.

Not often, but I always chip in when we have some Comic Relief stuff going on at work.

Pissing me off at the moment as this guy has become the charity rep at work and it always collecting for some new charity. Fucks me right off, will need to get a second job if it carries on!

My Dad was telling me some people came to his work and they can organise regular contributions from your wages tax free. He gives out of his wages every month.

Sometimes put change in the collection tubs if I get change after buying something, but I prefer to donate to things like children in need rather than red nose day

I never give to chuggers

quote:
chugger

Paid "charity" street worker (read: student) who has been trained to believe that they are carrying out a worthy task, improving peoples' lives by conning Joe Public out of their money for this week's Good Cause. Usually an agency worker where the agency takes a hefty cut of the hourly rate that the charity in question has paid for, whilst at the same time increasing profits by selling on details of those foolish enough to actually stop and sign up to said Good Cause.
If you really want to support a charity, do it through their website, not a chugger.

There is that many the council is having to ban people from doing it

I normally give a couple of quid when it's a decent charity like the air ambulance or a childrens hospital etc. I raised £400 for nspcc in 2009, that was my good deed for a few years.

No.

But I did work for a charity for 5 years earning approx 5k less a year than I should have been. But the place was brilliant and taught me a lot.

So that's my charitable work/donation done.

I give £4 a month to RSPCA. I give blood and am on the bone marrow register. I've also do sponsored bike rides and runs but they are more down to me and my mate winding each other up.

You know the sort of thing:

Him "You can't do that half marathon"
Me "You saying I can't do that?"
Him "Yeah. I reckon you can't do that"
Me "Well fuck you I'm doing that and I say you're a poof and YOU can't do that"
Him "Fuck you fatty I'm doing that too"

So on and so on.. Idiots

No I don't and doubt I ever will. If I didn't get pestered every single time I'm walking through town by charities I would consider doing it of my own free will.
