Says on a site that you buy beer tokens and there 3.50 each which usually gets you a draught pint, alco pop or small wine seems reasonable to me actually

been told theres also a tent where if you take your warm cans they will swap them for cold sounds good

No need to sneak the beer in your allowed to take as much as you like to the tent ect jut not aloud your own in the main arena. I went last year only took a few crates and a couple bottles of vodka lasted till friday night Most people will have 1 bag & shit loads of beer were as we had shit loads of camping gear and hardly any beer wont make that mistake again. Just get drinking all morning and early afternoon before heading to the arena cheaper that way.
They did a swap tent last year could exchange any beer for carling or strongbow as they were the 2 sponsor's people were exhachanging asda's own for carling they didn't advertise it untill you were in there but yeah they do exchange

so thats what happened to the beer amnesty! it used to be at reading/leeds when they sponsored that, when i went in 06 we took 40 cans of tescos own beer, when we got to the festival we went and swapped them all immediately for beer tokens and used them to get beer the rest of the weekend. easier than carrying beer or money
