Fresh MOT today, no advisories

Got 40mm lowering springs and dampers fitted, so I was finally able to fit the wheels:

Question though: Why dont the centre caps fit any more? They fitted fine when the wheels were off the car, but now it looks like the cap that covers the end of the stub axle assembly is fouling it. Can anyone help me?

Wheels look too big to me.
What are they? 16's or 17's?

Like every one else has said it will be the dust covers on the hub nuts.

I fitted my wheels yesterday and the covers popped my centers out.

Always love the day after the MOT when you can put all the fun stuff back on!

I'll whip off the dust covers and fit the centre caps once I move into my new house which has a drive. Otherwise they will probs get nicked. I have a supply of grease for the coilovers on my Astra so I'll just use some more of that. Also looks like someone has drilled a neat hole in the back of each centre cap to accomodate the stub axle itself so should be sorted there once the grease covers are off.

Thanks for your help guys, much appreciated

a standard height sport with 16"s looks lower than that, and they 20mm lower than poverty models iirc.

have you just took the photos after fitting them? tend to drop a little more once settled
