..serve drinks in glasses on a saturday night in city centre pubs, rather than plastic cups?
Brother in law has been glassed, not happy, at all. (he was in the Bell, SeTH)
Seeing as loads of city centre pubs show football all day now too.

Norwich isnt the roughest of cities, very little trouble, but in the space of 8 months Kerry has been punched in the face by a bloke and now her bro has been hit with a pint glass

They only seem to sell them in plastic here when there's a big game on in the millennium stadium

Because those plastic cups are a fucking arse and you end up with half your drink all down you, especially when half cut
Would rather take the slim chance of getting glassed than use those all night.

Because it isn't normal behaviour to hit someone with it
Can't really blame it on the pub, if its a rough one go somewhere else?

That'd be another H&S measure gone too far IMO, I'd feel like I was at a kids party if a pub served drinks in plastic cups

I agree it would be the majority who are punished for the minorities behaviour. I've just been to see him and has cuts on his eye lids and eye sockets, could of been a whole lot worse.

i would be quite happy to have plastic cups and glasses. if people would rather be glassed or have other people injured as it is an inconvenience to them using a plastic cup then they have their priorities wrong.

cant understand why someone would go for a fun night out and then end up wrapping a pot round someone face. guy needs locking up. i've witnessed a person being glassed years back and it's the most horrible thing i've seen. poor guy screaming in pain asking for help whilst trying to hold his skin onto his face. grim.

Sorry to hear that mate hopes hes ok, a guy i saw a few new years ago in chesterfield got glassed in the neck, luckily was in the entrance of the club and there was a ambulance across the road. Never seen so much blood so quick, the guy nearly died.

No I'm sorry but it's the twats that think it's big/clever to glass people that have there priorities wrong. Not the people who like to enjoy a cold pint out of a glass 'cus it tastes better.

Alternatively, massive sentences for people who commit the crime.
The police rung him earlier and said
"do you want to press charges or send him on a rehabilitation course" or something along those lines
