I've been looking on eBay with a mate to see if there was anything around. He mentioned Clio 182 but they still seem to be £2000 upwards. Punto GT abit old. Anybody think of anything else that could be searched for? Ideally I'd like to get something small, quick, comfy, that I could get in the near future.

Thanks

The cheaper the better. I'd like a Clio 182 but still abut pricey for me at the moment (a little more to be saved) thats why I thought I'd ask if anyone else had any ideas or give there opinion ad to what to look for.

depends how track focused you want to go really. if u want an out-and-out track car that somehow managed to pass road regulations it'd have to be the fabia vrs

You get 172's for little over a grand now. Tbh, you won't really get a decent Civic VTi for such a low price, so I'd be looking for a Clio. Or a VTS.

Cheers eck didn't think of a vts, may do a search on those. 182 would still be searched for. Xaos- it's for daily use not the track (I'd like to experience a track day though)

Look at the 172 as well! You keep saying 182, the 172's can be had really cheap.

Punto's not for me. Seen a few 172's but funds stopped me from bidding any higher. Had a look at 106 gti but there too small and not keen on the early 206 gti (prefer the 180 but to pricey) the search continues.

It won't be easy to get an EG6 for about the grand mark though, and an EE9/EF9 won't be in great nick Also, as much as I love the look of EK4's, they are ridiculously heavy Still not slow mind!

They are 1150kg which is really heavy considering a CTR which is a bigger car weighs not much more?

I wouldn't say 1150 is heavy but suppose like you say EP3 is 1205 so not a huge difference.

Well, no it isn't really a heavyweight in real world terms but an EG is 1020 iirc, which isn't a mega difference but a large passenger even though they have the same power! Still awesome fun though, and whack a supercharger on one and you have a pretty mental motor

Vts all the way looking at what you want from it. Unlowered they're surprisingly comfortable for a daily
