The only thing is, i dont really like french cars. especially peugeots. not for £9k anyway.
Dont really want an astra coz they are too plain. Now that you mention Seat, i wouldnt mind a go in a Leon Cupra.

Seat Leon cupra are sweet..Look subtle as well but go like sh1t off a shovel..

i would have the ibiza, but if you want out and out speed then the cup would sh1t on everything else there.

Gold GTi TDi. Still got 150bhp, more4 torge than the petrol version, and runs much better on fuel!

ALL cars will have problems and niggles. Doesn't deter the fact that every Golf i have been in has been great!

I would STRONGLY recommend that you do not buy a Golf... I sold my Corsa at the beginning of this year and bought one! The service was shocking and the car was a disgrace, in fact, things are so bad that VW have agreed to take the car back and refund my money!

I too am looking at new cars today and I think it will be an Astra for me!
