She has up to £2000 but would prefer to spend less than £1500 if she can...

She is coming from a P REG Fiesta 1.25 MK4...

Wants a hatchback between 1.2-1.6...

Ideas....?

Mate of mine picked up a silver 02 plate with 75k on, irmscher front splitter and exhaust, tinted windows. £950, all be it from the auction, but still cheap. Bargains can be had at the moment, car prices are shocking.

Why would you buy a brand new car and watch all its value go over the next three years?

IMO yeah I wish I had realised it sooner, never have I saved so much money not repairing cars since buying new... Likes of younger people who can't afford to buy it out right it seem to be jumping at the chance to pay up with almost no repair bills, 0% intrest finance 5 years, and the 100000 mile warranty life is easyer with less hassles

I have had my Corsa for three years now, paid £200 in repairs, £300 if you include tyres and brakes!

Below is just a few examples, of what i'm showing you, and nothing that;s close to you to have a look at etc.

Newer Shape Fiesta: Clicky

Honda Jazz: Clicky

Toyota Yaris: Clicky

Skoda Fabia: Clicky

The fiesta is alright to drive (missus had one).

Toyota Yaris, when I drove one, I found the clutch to be 'sticky'

Skoda, nice and comfy.

Hoep they help.

Taking her to look at that black corsa c sxi... Anyone know what to look for in terms of making sure it doesn't have any obvious problems?

coil springs on the back, trackrod ends. Coil packs can go frequently if not looked after. But as long as nothing major is up with the car it will be fine.
