First thread in a year....

Gettin rid of my 59reg 1.8sri xp Astra, im bored of it.

Trying to think of cars that look quite special, go quite fast and are reliable. The budget is around the £7,000.
Ive looked at mk1 RS Focus's, Audi TT 1.8t's and ST Focus's and i keep coming back to liking a VXR Astra. What other options are there?

Plenty options.Only you can decide.

Pistonheads, search, £7k max, sorted.

But if you keep coming back to the VXR then it would be daft to pick something else.

Nice Evo 7 for that price. Vxr I'd give a miss as you want something relaible. Focus ST or mk1 rs is a good shout. Leon cupra Rs go for around £6k for a low mileage minter. Also the mk4 golf r32s are about this price

Probably cost more to just run an Evo than it would to run a VXR and fix it if it ever broke.
