For some reason i've always used fork in the right hand and knife in the left. People always comment on it and ask if i'm left handed, and i'm not.

Is this really that weird? How do you hold yours?

I'm the same. I find myself ripping my food apart instead of cutting it with the knife .

Fork in left hand, Knife in right hand. Pretty sure thats the standard thing most people get taught, not sure if there is a correct knife and fork etiquette over it though.

I use my fork in my right hand unless using a knife, which I don't very often.

Fork should be in the left.

However, I always use the fork in the right and ignore the knife as I'm lazy.

Obviously if I'm eating something like pasta where you dont need a knife I just have the fork in my right hand seen as though I'm right handed.

Annoys me if I'm eating with people who can't hold their knife and fork right. Just makes you seem like an idiot.

I hold my knife and fork the same as you do!

I've tried swapping but it just doesn't work, I simply cannot conform.
