umm smashed the carbon bonnet, front bumper and drivers headlight. The slam pannel is bent nearly in half the driver wing is fucked. The bit of metal that runs along the bottom of the car is all mashed up, all the welds have come undone.

The best part about is that it happened outside a pub. The police asked the people in the pub for statements who all came out with diffrent things and now its going to court! brilliant :/

was behind a few cars, looked down to change song, looked back up and 1 of the cara in front stopped to turn into the fuel station. Slammed my brakes on, car went into a sorta spin across the road and hit a car coming in the opposite direction

You will be able to.prove lights were on with the bulbs. If there on all the smashed glass gets stuck to the wire bit inside because there hot. If there off the glass just smashes and falls on the floor.

Typical of the police, If your out of line when in a pub or whatever there on you straight away. Yet they will take witness statements from people who will inevitably talk utter bollocks because they have had a drink about a road traffic incident. People in the pub probably heard it, came running out, seen a modified car and went ooooooh he was racing and overtaking while getting a blowjob and not wearing his seatbelt bla bla bla.

Ridiculous is all I can say.

Even if it's not, the assessor will take 1 look at it, see it's bent and say that's a write off.

The engine wont even be looked at.

Here's your cheque.

Not the case at all, Police will have it inspected and a engineers report. I know a lad this has just happened too. When they came to his door they knew more about the car than him. Conversion, Brakes, Suspension ect ect.

usually happens if its the other insurer dealing with your claim.
when my saxo vtr was written off the assesor had no interest in the vts engine because i wasnt insured with them so makes no difference if my mods are decalred or not, or even if i was insured.

It won't go to court, soley your fault. Sorry I work for an insurer and know exactly how it will go. Just hope you have everything declared. Don't what ever you do is give false information.
