Okay, I've just got back from being on a 3 week training course, where my meals are paid for every day... so obviously I've been taking advantage of that! I've had Domino's, Pizza Hut, TGI Friday's, Nando's, Wagamama, Thyme, Frankie & Benny's, Bella Italia, McDonald's, Pizza Express & Subway

Pizza wise Domino's just absolutely destroy's Pizza Hut, I've had this confirmed time after time and I honestly don't see how anyone can think differently! Pizza Express was nice... Bella Italia's cheese is probably the best I've ever tasted tbh.

Never had TGI Friday's before and must say it didn't really impress me that much, mine had some strange tasting sauce with it. Frankie & Benny's didn't impress either, although I've had better ones in the past.

Only ever eaten at Nando's once before and didn't really like it. However over the 3 weeks I had it twice and I must say it was bloody lovely! One of my top places tbh... funniest bit was my mate on the course (from Chile) didn't speak English too well and ordered 'medium' to be giving 'extra hot' lol. My god I actually saw tears.

First time at Wagamama's too, didn't use the chop sticks much I must admit! The 'starters' weren't all that tbh and I was a bit worried about my main meal. I opted for some curry... but it was very, very nice. Lovely sauce, impressed tbh and I definitely want to go back at some point.

Thyme was just the restaurant at Premier Inn, ate there a few times. The pasta and Sunday lunch sort of thing were actually very nice, but the salad I had was awful, so perhaps a bit hit and miss. One tip, do not get the garlic bread! £3 I think it was for 2 tiny bits, absolute rip off.

McDonald's & Subway are obviously just normal places to go anyway, had them lots of times... makes you realise after paying roughly £12 a time at these other places, that a full meal for £3.60 at McDonald's really is a great deal though, and it was definitely better than some of the meals I had!

God this has gone on a bit, but for anyone that has read this far, imo, Top 3: Domino's, Nando's & Wagamama... bottom 3: Thyme, TGI Friday's & Frankie & Benny's.

If we're talking about restaurant chains I'd say my favourites are probably Nandos, Pizza Express and Gourmet Burger Kitchen

Worked away from home for a fair bit, dread to think how many Dominos I've had but I agree they are better than Pizza Hut, in the same way that Burger King pisses all over McDonalds. Tuesday was always Dominos night.
McDonalds was usually Monday's choice, when you've been up since 4am and worked till 7pm you just want something quick that fills a hole and they tend to be easier to find than Burger King.

One of the best things about working away was trying the different small takeaways. If anyone is in the Wallington area try Tonys Indian Spice, best chicken dopiaza going!

Michaelangelos - Local Italian, pizzas are better than any other.
San Carlo - for nice posh Italian
But I like a good old bar meal best, nice home cooked steak pie and chips etc.

I had a Chiquitos last night, it was the best food I've had in a while.
I've been to Frankie and Bennys once and I was really disappointed with it, don't think I'd go back.

Oh and I've only had Dominoes twice before, first one was good. Then recently I had one of those double decadence ones. It was honestly one of the worst pizzas I've ever had!

Dominos and tgis crappy.

Nandos ok but expensive for what you get.

There's a chain of 3 italians in Glasgow I like, standard Italian prices and the food is always nice.
