Yo guys,

I plan to go and pick up a new car tomorrow. it has 12 months mot etc but doesnt have any road tax at present. I work 6 days a week and sunday is my only chance to go and collect the car

Will I be able legally to drive it back to my house(approx an hour away)

Couldn't you tax it online and carry the proof with you to say the tax is in the post ?

If its taxed online the other guy has to have it currently insured, and it'll go to his house.

Not possible to drive it.

You need him to tax it, which means he needs to have it insured.

The alternative is for you to go there and get it in your name but not collect until the docs are in order.

when we bought the van, we had insurance in our name, all docs were in his name and we taxed it online when were we at the guys house before fetching it back, the tax disc did go to the guys house but he just posted it on

needs clear indicators, front splitter and some spacers then will look alright

Alex have you been in sams 2.0? They go alright? my last one was a 323 and that went alright but its almost 50hp more iirc
