Ok So am after going lower on the front of the Corsa b soon am want Some coilovers but want to slam it

I'm using spax shocks on the front at the moment on custom 80mm springs and got 16" speedlines with 40profile tyres i havnt got any rubbing issues at all (well front mud flaps) but no arch rubbing etc

BUT want it even lower on the front So want some coilovers! So what's best coilies for slamage Makes etc..? So Gaz are top dollar and look the best handle great (read all about them) but are the good for slamming?

Don't want horrible camber adjustable, banging, scrubbing tyres off rubbish though...

Also are Gaz the only coilovers that do rear coilovers? (Ones were the rear struts are the coilover)

Avo do rear coilovers aswell to be fair a had gaz coilovers were good and am buying golds at end of month as had spax on my c and were terrible

Golds arn't worth it if the car is only going to be used on the roads. And I can get GAZ Coilovers much cheaper than anywhere else.

True only for my drive around car Gaz coilies would be going to waste on it just Want some half decent ones and ones that go lower then 60mm as most list on eBay etc want it slammed up front

id go with gaz, thought they were abit less harsh than avo's and better quality aswell and my avo's didnt last long either

That's not what I said. Coilovers for a daily are perfectly fine. I have and do have them on mine. I was saying the GAZ Golds, for their price and what they do, would be wasted on just a daily run around.

GAZ do the 'extra low' version kev so can go silly low without being on the bump stops, and they do the rear septate damper/spring version, its called telescopic if you wanted that setup

Can specify what you want when buying new

ive got gaz on mine (from P1CK4D ) and they are great, still about an inch of thread on the rears and loads on the front but its low enough for me as it is now, almost grounded my car on one of those daft really high rubber speed bumps they have in supermarket car parks

Are you mad Kev iv got the same springs as you on the front with the same size wheel and tyre size and thats low enough for daily use.

Any lower than that then will be asking for trouble

its ok i want to slam it even more i dont mind marky mark

honestly gaz coilovers would go to waste on my car honest its an every day car and will never see a track.

GAZ coilovers are not for the track though!

Only the GOLD £900 kit is for the track.

Kit you need is called GHA 310 its same as what I had on the Nova.

P1CK4D can get them for £410

Iv got the Gaz rears on mine Kev and they can go quite low.

Got mine set at around 80-85 rear with 20 threads left to go lower so probs 100-110 i think.

Thats the old price. It has gone up, but only by a fraction.

Coilovers on the road will see a massive difference to just shocks and lowering springs.

***UPDATE***

So going to go for the Gaz coilover GHA310 front and rear kit

before i order the kit what springs whould i go for my cars a 1.2 16v sxi corsa b because ive been told either 200lb or 300lb springs

rememeber i want them for to slam the car... NOT track days driving like a numpty on public roads etc etc..for slamage so getting extra low ones just what LB to go for?

i have jamex fronts kev and i took the helper springs out when it was a 1.2 and it whent really low!

You may need to bang the insides of your rear arches as the Gaz rear coilovers rub up against them.

Think mine just say clear but only by a mil or 2.
