Seeing as though they are the best thing since sliced bread and all that...
Had a replacement engine and supposedly Cammed. it goes very well but I'm not 100%
neither here nor there for now...
Got a bargain to be honest.
and its got a few chavy mods that I can sell to fund real modifications.
It has some M6 mirrors in boot and smoked rears
I have standards to fit
As it stands
Mods are
Genuine Esscosse Induction Kit
Scorpion Cat Back
Lowered front
White Cyclones
I have bought a front Strut cheap and my mates Power Coating it white
I will start on the car diet asap
and fit standard rears I have in the book..
Plans are to give it a good service
sort the suspension out
GTi 6 Brakes
Remove everything that is not needed

Make sure you get an omp lower brace too, cheap and cheerful mod yet they help loads. I went all out on the stripping of mine and the difference was night and day, I literally had seats, dash and a steering wheel left I got rid of electric windows and mirrors, sunroof, all deadening and lining, glove box, stereo and speakers, all trim and replaced with fibreglass blanks and added a cage. It's fun ripping everything out.
A pusport will free up a few bhp and it will sound a lot better

Got home from work.. straight to work
Question is which way am I going........?
got rid of the Gash rear lights for standard..
for anyone thats seen the sticker it reads (VTEC This) Will be removed once I get a picture of it next to my EP3 CTR
Straight into the diet
not even started on the diet
But it had a big MDF stealth shelf 6X9's and AMP etc
so we're under 900kg now... how light do these things go?
Awful video but.. it pulls well.. (better off listening not watching)

They weigh around 960kg standard, you won't lose all that much weight if you stick a cage it, it'll be better than nothing though.

Get a 4-2-1 on it and a set of cams, will probably see around 145 with the breathing mods, make it light and handle well and you'll have lots of fun.
Here's my old progress thread if you want some inspiration

Fitted new exhaust mounts as the old ones had seen better days
the filter and housing was cover in shit so I decided to give them a good clean
also the PAS bottle was to cock so I've re mounted it properly
Got back to stripping and I found a few goodies that I might be able to sell for a few quid
Polycarb windows needed so I can get rid of all that shiz
and a pic of both my toys

Just ordered some nice GTI-6 brakes
I had brembo's on my ibiza (aftermarket ones not cupra R)
and I remember the GTI-6 brakes on my VTS being better with some decent pads
