Anyone working tonight then?

1st ever night shift, filming a tv series but half asleep already.

Been up since 8am, shift started at 11:30pm and finishes 8am. Im already fooking knackered, god knows how im lasting another 6 hours!

i do 3 x 12 hour shifts love it 7pm to 7am Monday night to Thursday morning i bloody love my shifts shame im in a 2 week rotation 2 weeks nightshift then 2 weeks day shift.

How do you get into it? Like today, theres no way i could work tonight without being up 24 hours!

if i had the choice id do that , cram the hours for more days off

my fella has worked nights for the past 3-4 years, works out great for us until i want to go and run the dogs at night an he is working i refuse to go to dogging central in the dark on my own

You did your first night shift having been up since 8am? Schoolboy error.

I work nights, I love it, could not do days! Wake up at 1pm pretty much everyday and manage to get so much done that none of my mates can who work till 5pm or later

Well i got a delivery at 8am, and couldnt get back to sleep so got up. Got about 2 hours sleep at 1-3pm

I suppose it's something you get used too. I get up for a piss at about 10am usually, I can have a conversation with my Mum, read my post and then still fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow again until 1pm!

ill go home and sleep till 4pm get up get dinner on see the mrs for 2 hours then off again love it few weeks ago i had monday night off so only 2 x 12 hour shifts lol. It was like working a weekend and getting a week off

The trick is to stay up late as fuck the night before your first shift. I'm split shift this week, two days, off Tomorrow, then two 7-7 nights. Much prefer nightshift!

Apparently so, last time we wernt even allowed to point the camera in that area, this time its ALOT different

i went to bed at 11 the night before !


Went to bed at 9am this morning, woke up at 3:30, back in now for another 8 hours

I've only ever done one night shift. It was brilliant, I had to do a run down to Devon and back so set off at half 7 on a Sunday night and got home at around half 5 Monday morning. It did help with it being the weekend though because I had from Friday night to play with my sleep so had a late one Friday then it was about 5 o'clock on the Sunday morning when I went to bed, slept till 1ish then I was good to go.
