Going for the first time tomorrow! Do they give you overalls to wear? Been advised to wear a beanie incase of a back of the headshot!
Any other tips?

They give you overalls and armor, but don't wear the armor, man up.

if they have a choice of goggles or full face mask, take the mask. wear a thick-ish jumper or old hoody under your overalls. might get a bit hot but you'll be rushing too much to care. i took a pair of cycling gloves with me last time i went aswell.
dont be too trigger happy, you can pollish off a full hopper or more in one round and it gets expensive after your pre paid balls are up

Spoke to a guy from work about going, he said get as many balls as possible as you do go through them quite quickly, so ive got 1000! Max you could get I think.
Heard that the masks steam up real quick too which sucks! Yeah think Ill take some gloves too!
Pretty excited about going, just cant be dealing with a headshot in this cold weather!

went a few weeks ago.
park your car far away a mine has 5 shots on
thigh, rib and head shots hurt the most.
they supply body armour, mask and overalls and you'll probably need to pay for gloves (delta force anyway).
you do get very hot and your mask mists up, but don't panic as everyone else is in the same boat.
don't go in all guns blazing on the 1st round as the paintballs cost me £70 per 1000 and you can go through them in a couple rounds easy.
also, play the strategic game and don't just get shot in the 1st 5 seconds. most of us got shot but wiped it off and kept playing.

oh and you'll also bleed/bruise easily and you'll have them for up to 2 weeks. if you have a missus', tell her you're going as neck bruises look very much like lovebites.

i know a trick to stop your mask steaming up. my step dad used to go diving quite alot and this stop's the mask steaming up.
just spit in the lenses and rub it in ( obviously when no one is looking )

i tried that but didn't work. you can buy some wipes for 50p or so that stop it misting up for a couple of rounds.
best way i found to stop it misting up as to breathe through your mouth, not your nose.

The mrs knows im going. Think there is about 30 of us going, should be a good laugh!
Ill wear some jeans and a hoody then, try find some gloves too, I can just imagine the feeling of the paintball hitting my thigh when its freezing cold and ive only got thin layers on, kinda expect it to feel like having a football kicked at your thigh full pelt with thin shorts on!
Ill make sure my car is parked out the way then, try put it between 2 others
Are we able to stand the birthday boys together at the end and shoot them?

only if it's during the game, they wont let you shoot outside the designated area and after the games finished.

Hands were always most vulnerable for me when I went alot a few years ago - so some kind of padded gloves (goalie gloves, mountain biking gloves, etc) are ideal.
Used to go in winter all the time, fucking awesome on cold foggy mornings to be creeping about before you run into the opposition and it turns into a full blown clusterfuck of warcries, agony and plenty of mud.
You'll love it

If its cold the paintballs will be harder. I got shot first game once in the head which cut it. And once in the thigh. Cut me through my jeans. Also got shot in the last game in the finger tip. Get gloves as that hurts like fuck.
Also loads on money. You will use a shit load of ammo.

Your all Faggots. i.play competitively and normally only wear a vest and long sleeve playing top. Guns shoot at a higher feet per second and normally get shot from a few foot away.
Serious advice. don't wear a hat, it'll make your goggs steam up.

Also, Phil, cold will make.balls brittle, heat will make them bouncy and therefore hurt more.
