almost finished breaking the puma now and my dad said i would get more cash by cutting the shell up and running it into a scrap metal place.
this a good idea or waste of time?
also, anyone know what kind of price i would get for a puma shell?

Price has come down, think it's about £130 per ton now, so probably £100 for what you have left.

Depends on the scrap yard, weather or not you'd get more for it chopped up, personally I found it to be a waste of time cutting them into bits for how much extra you got. Just bare shell the whole lot take out everything that's not metal, cutting the entire car loom out can normally get you a little more last time I went £1.5 a kg for wire with the plastic on. It isn't much but every little helps and it's easier than cutting the shell into bits

Doubt you would even get £100 TBH i only got £70 for a discovery body and theres considerbly more weight in one of them than a puma

Scrapped a Sierra shell the other week, stripped it for donor parts for a kit car.
Scrappy came and collected but gave us fuck all as we had stripped it, and we only get £100 for a complete car around here.
Not sure if there just tight or if thats the going rate?!

When I stripped a civic I didnt cut the shell up. Was completely bare, filled it with other scrap we had and onto a trailer and weighed in

they are round ringing their bell every sunday
the car still has both doors, tailgate, bonnet, bare dashboard, 5 alloys, suspension, electric window mech, tailgate mech, loom etc.
don't mind about the doors or electrical bits.
£100 is what i would want tbh.
