On cold start up the engine sound's fine (for a 53 plate twinport) how ever once the engine start's to warm up and get upto temp when idle the engine is very ticky quite loud when you rev it slightly say 200 rpm it get's quicker few more rpm and it goes and sound's normal :-/
Thought at first maybe it's the wrong oil may sound daft but if its thicker when cold it's fine hence no ticking but once warms and thins out it starts? is this possible or just a daft idea
1.4 twinport with 58k on the clock

Could be, but if its thicker it would tap on cold usually as its all sat and would take that bit longer to work its way around. Whats mileage? Could be timing chain ratteling??

if its more prominent when engine is warm, stands a chance of it being death rattle
tappets usually when its cold and go when warm

it'll just be the usual corsa c twinport timing chain tick they all do it lol does sound strange if you've never heard it before, also as said the injectors are noisey on them too, id only worry if it sounds like the chain is slapping the inside of the timing cover easy to change though so not a major biggie

Well going to get the usual service parts for it fresh oil, plugs ect any way, might get a bottle of red x to give the injectors abit of a clean, funny thing is it doesn't miss fire or hunt or any think literally fine but when it warms up it ticks.

2nd that! My 1.2 16v Corsa C SXi used to have VERY noisy injectors (from being brand new).. used to piss me off because it was louder than my mates Ford CVH engine

Another vote for injectors. Maybe it's just something you never really noticed before but do now because you are listening for it.

Timing chain should last to at least 100k, and its mainly the tensioners that need replaced.
give it an oil change?

Giving it an oil change in the next few day's to see if makes any difference at all. Would you say using some think like red x would help clean the injector's and quiten them down or do they really need replacing?

They should but they dont. The tensioners loose tension due to spazzes owning them not checking oil or putting the correct grade in them.
Mine use to tick its tits of when warm
