one for the cs boffins, cant work it out for the life of me, probably simple or im being stupid, question is:

"PENGUIN = 55
MOUSE = 35
CAT = 25
ELEPHANT = 65 ,

so what is LION worth? Find an animal worth 30 and one worth 95"

now i tried writing down everything, removing vowels, giving the letters numbers etc, also crossed my mind it might be scrabble numbers for letters but still cant work it out?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

its not for a prize or anything before you think, it was a fun quiz thing they had at work

the others are:

"which two important numbers in the Bible can be multiplied to make 645,354? (think: first and last)"

"show how to use all the numbers 1,2,4,5,5,50 and any combination of + - x / to create a total of 903"

and lastly

"a jar of honey costs £1.10. If the honey is worth £1 more then the glass jar, what is the honey worth?"

(((50-5) x 5) x 4) + (2+1)

Obviously many variants of that, like (4x5) x (50 - 5) + (2+1) etc

Minus the quid from £1.10 then half it, although do you need the equation for the honey question?

glass jar is worth 5p
honey is a pound more, so £1.05p
add them together and £1.10

You missed a bit in the equation. You need to take into account Lewis playing second fiddle to his team mate for most of the season before you can come to a viable solution.
