If it has the exhaust particle filter, they can clog if they aren't driven as recommended. Electric handbrake sometimes play up

Surely you should have asked before buying it
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

im a mechanic at a taxi firm so everything that can go wrong with a car if we have it it has happened, best advice i can give with picassos is sell it now before anything goes wrong.
2.0l hdi is a good engine really but the piccaso isn't a good car everything goes on them mostly electrical faults

Its French so everything is a potential fault and the more optional extras you have the more chance there is of it fucking up
However they are good value for money

you're only supposed to have the dpf if you do high motorway milage because it injects extra fuel into the filter to burn off the "soot". seen loads of taxi's come in with faults because theyve got dpf, but dont travel at motorway speed for more than 20 minutes at a time and they clog up.
have you got one of those shitty 4 pin locking wheel nut keys? i found they always used to sheer off aswell

drove my parents picasso a few times. I found that the clutch was in a horrible position, my dad said the same thing, but mum never complained. I think they were built for women.
