Whats going to break? What to look for on shit conversions?
Obviously gearbox and driveshafts are made by Cadburys but other bits where people will scrimp to save money.
I think they fit my criteria as to what I'm looking for, bit rare, track focused, can be tinkered with.

You making a point there Mike?
Sounds bit expensive to me although it does have a bit of spec, probably still wants better brakes and tyres though?

Wondered why you picked that bit, almost as if you were suggesting that there was something of concern because the guys name doesn't sound British.

cheaper ones that that going about is there not?
looks a good spec tho. the 206gti brake upgrade is very popular in the saxo world as the bilstien suspension.
remember these only weigh 810kgs standard.

Best car I ever owned - Best handling car ive owned to date and so easy to work on,
Had full adjustable Bilstein set-up
306gti-6 front brake set up
K&n panel filter
4branch and full exhaust inc decat
Lightweight multispokes with yoko prada's
Only thing that went wrong was Rear beam and ICV - Mine and il include a link to a Series1 which is the best track prepped rallye for £2200

It's a lot of money, but is pretty much perfect, and local to you.

But you might as well go for a GTI, or a VTS, then strip it and do a few mods and rag the fuck out of it.

All that went wrong my old S1 was, the thremostat, and ICV. I gave it plenty of shit, and not much love. But was a great car, I had black one.
