This is all that remains of a Ł40,000 ‘supercar’ that was loaned to Greater Manchester Police for a test drive.

in that case, should have plenty of cctv in that area. would love it if they didn't have their blues on. although they'll get off with a warning because they are above the law.

There was one near me where a police car drove through a speed camera with no blue lights on, and the officer swearing at the camera. Even though his face was visible they said they "couldn't possibly know who was driving as the vehicles are not registered to one person" so nothing followed.
Also number 3 on here was a police officer http://cars.uk.msn.com/features/photos.aspx?cp-documentid=155479937&page=3

It probably wouldn't have had blues fitted yet seeing as it was on a test drive. The regulations are strange though. A guy I know went through police pursuit training a while back, he said in the marked cars they had to have blues on to do anything over the limit and where restricted on overall speed too whereas in the unmarked cars they could do whatever the car was capable of without blues. That's from memory so probably not 100% accurate but it was something daft along those lines.

i doubt it would have had any blue lights on it anyway as they were only test driving it to see if they wanted to buy one, think they had for 2 days
