Sold a gearbox on ebay from a 1.2 16v Corsa C.
Said wanker messaged me asking if it will fit his 1.2 16v B so I said google seems to think so but it will fit the engine code (Cant remember which one but I listed my engine code)
He comes and picks it up 3 weeks ago and has messaged me this morning saying it wont fit.
Surely this isnt my fault? Also it wasnt completed through ebay he just saw it and turned up.

i never hint at all something might be something else, i would say a 1.2 corsa c gearbox came off a 1.2 corsa c car and fits 1.2 corsa c's

I don't know what your advert said, but if it said something like "for a Vauxhall Corsa C 1.2 16v" then you aren't in the wrong - whether it may or may not fit other engines/vehicles is none of your concern.

I had this selling a Vectra F23 gearbox, stated what it did and didnt fit and still had someone win and then turn up to ask if it would fit there Astra G.
Absolute waste of time, and he spent the best part of an hour fannying around phoning his mates and various mechanics to see if it would fit. Glad he made a 2 1/2 hour drive to see it afterwards! Bellend!

May fit a corsa b
but thats about as vague as saying an ostrich testicle might fit in the cylinder head.

I'm selling my winter run about a fiat punto gt. Put it on ebay with a buy it now, next day its sold someone bought it using buy it now. Over the moon I was.
I got an email saying could I drop the car off for an extra 20 pound. As she was only in the city I live I thought why not.
My mate took the car to her as I was working, knock knock...... o hai im here with the car you won on ebay.......she said " oh not again!".
Turns out her ex bf has been buying cars off ebay ( 5 others) and asking for them to be taken to her address for when she finshes work.
