I've scowled the net, found tons of companies that hire them to 23+ year olds. Problem is I'll be 22 when I go in March.

There's the odd company I've found, want £45 for 3 days renting a new Corsa but because I'm 22 want £40 A DAY extra.

Anybody know any companies I might be able to use. Don't mind paying upto £70-£80 for the 3 days.

If it makes it any different it's from the 30th March - 1st April.

Ta x

Might be cheaper to get someone older to hire it in their name and just add you as a named driver (normally an extra charge for this, but much less than £40/day).

I don't think that will be possible as I'm travelling over with another 22 year old.

Ahh... I assumed you tried all the big names (i.e. Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, Sixt, etc.)?

Staying in Dún Laoghaire in Dublin.

It's £320 return for 2 people and a car from Hollyhead to Dublin. Plus I'd have to drive 2 hours to Hollyhead and back which is a fair bit of fuel!

Boats are stupidly expensive but if you can't hire a car it's not that much.
