Going to look at one with my mother tomorrow. They seem a nice car for the money and apparently have Vauxhall engines and use a lot of other GM parts.
This is the car in question CLICKY
Anybody had any experience with them?

The tax bracket is horrendous! One of the reasons they are so cheap! Also as far as I remember it's a carb'd engine?

Tax is £260 for the year so not to bad.
Can't find anything about a carb'd engine.

Dad had a chevrolet tacuma - quite possibly the worst car I've ever been in.

We've had no experience with them so we're only going for a look. All the other Picasso, Zaffira or Scenics for a similar price have 100,000+ miles and are 10+ years old.

I'd rather an older Mk2 Scenic tbh Jakey boy. 1.6 Petrol if she's not doing moon milage, must be loads about. Will do 35MPG all day long and it's in that £190 band.

Any reasons why though Adam or Pow?
I tell people about the car, they like the sound of it.
Tell them it's a Daewoo and everybody hates.

Dad did over 250,000 in 2 scenics and they were rock solid, never went wrong. Even tried to drive one of them over a Z3 years ago, came off with a crack on the bumper.
The are brilliant spacy cars and don't seem to cost an arm and a leg to run.
Just think it'll be easier to get rid of aids than that

daewoo isnt a bad car. just bland, not the easyst to get bits for.
zaffy, go for older shape. i hate the new one
dad has had both, ive driven both, older one is better.

Just can't seem to find any Zafs or Scenics under £1500 with less than 100,000 on the clock.
My mum doesn't do more than 6k a year. She just wants a higher car that can get her from a to b without paying tons and be reliable.

His was a 1.6 - slow, shit fuel consumption, noisy, crap plastics inside, lost value like a stone. Oh and the engine blew up at 40,000 miles despite regular servicing.
I literally could see no redeeming features.

That car is miiiilesss away Pow. Don't wanna travel hours away for a car that's only being used as a runaround.
Will have a look at the Nissan and Mazda thanks lads.

Good call on the Tino. Good priced with low miles, just not many about locally.
