Hey guys,
Strait to the point, went to work on my car today due to weather gettin a lil warmer an not working on my car from early january. Been in an out since then but just collecting parts an popping them in around the car.
Went to use my tools to take spoiler off, an noticed that my tools wernt in the usuall place, didn't think anything of it due to all the car parts being there.
Rumaged all around an car find one single tool out of the car...only ones left are in the car, couple of drivers.
But the cat that I took off was there in the open aswell as bumpers...
See i live in a appartment block but have my own garage undernieth them.
we complained a while back due to the gardeners/grounds keepers going in my garage using my electricity.
But I'm ment to be the only one with keys to the garage.
See I don't wana accuse them of nicking my tools but they have disapeared, been looking for over an hour an in a normal size garage that's pretty thorough.
Any advise would be really apprieciated.
Thanks for reading.

cant you just put an extra lock on it somewhere, like a padlock that can be removed easily?

Doesn't matter if landlords it's private to you they have to ask your permission to go in. Change and upgrade locks

Connect a grenade to door handle , if you hear a bang and a Gardner missing you know it's them . If not you have 10 years in prison to think about who could have taken your tools

Theft simple as that ring police. It should be easy enough even for them to find out who took them if there is only so many keys etc.
Pretty fucking obvious isn't it what's happened! Robbing cunts.

Just an update, did a thorough check with th GF last night and noticed my jack and axle stands are gone too.
Got onto the police who are sending someone round to my gaff today so the missus can go through everything with them while im at work.
Really feeling gutted now as i wont be able to touch the car until i can get some cash together, really come at the wrong time as its bill weeks
Im now in the process of trying to get hold of the landlord.

I'd get in touch with the landlord ASAP too, he/she should know about the previous people getting in if you've complained before.
I'd want to know if my staff were stealing things from my "clients".

Fuck that, just do it and don't say anything. If you get a call asking why it's changed then you know there's a problem.

Spoke to the company we originally found the appartment through.
The landlord is abroad in pakistan so they will not be able to phone him, just email...
Which leads me to believe someone else will be in charge of his keys...
We were never able to get a direct phone number for him either as the company we went through are a managing letting company so they act like his secretary.
Whats worse is that after finding more stuff gone, im worried im gona come across more like bits off the car that i will need to put back on a later date!
Think im gonna have to get the locks changed myself then like you say Brett.
Thanks

Honestly, just do that, nothin will come of it. If Someone notices then that only highlights the fact that someone's trying to access it without your say so. You can always change the lock back when you depart.

i wouldn't go accusing anyone as you have no concrete proof, just add/change locks of your own accord and when the owner gets back, let him know.
if he kicks off, tell him you had to as the police said so or some bullshit.
