went to look at a 54 plate 330d bmw just before. black, grey leather its the sport model. just waiting on a definite price for it but i think its going to be around 3250 which isn't bad. its done over 100k and other than needing 2 new rear tyres soon, and a couple dints on drivers door i need to sort, its bang on. fairly quick cars they are and was driving around at 45mpg even though it had a bit of throttle applied. feels great to drive, wil be my first non-vauxhall car since i owned a mk2 golf in 2003
with a bit of luck, shall buy it in the next couple of days. only let down for me is the lack of cup holders
thanks for reading this very cool story.

1 thing I hated in the 306 was no cup holders!

Will await pics, but good choice. I'd love one, but I'm funny about the over 100k mile thing, and finding one that hasn't been crashed and is low mileage (and a fair price) is quite difficult on an E46 these days!

mileage is all motorway stuff on it so its not really a massive issue. its all been fully inspected by probably one of only 2 people id take car advice from so thats good enough for me. it is 8 years old i guess so its to much above the average. will get pics if i buy it tomorrow.

My boss has one and it's bloody quick on the move. Sounds great for a diesel as well. A remap supposidly makes them an animal and actually improves mpg, which is the main reason for buying one I suppose lol.

You can get cup holders Nic, I had a phone holder in the centre console but no cup holders drive me crazy considering the Mazda had 6! So I bought the cup holders on eBay

The armrest covers the rear cupholder as it is designed for cars without it but who gives a toss, its definitely best thing I've bought for mine.

Mate used to have 1. His was a 2001 with the 183bhp engine (your's will be the 201 iirc). Tell you what though it went like shit off a shovel, and fuel gauge hardly moved even when giving it some shoe.

Good buy, and you can get cup holders that sit next to the gear stick in that cubby iirc.

110k I think can't remember. It's not a category car no, cheap as its off a mate. Same one that sold me my 60k mile corsa c comfort for reasonable money.

Was very surprised at how quick and smooth it was. Suspension is a bit stiff as its the sport aparantly but nice car. Hopefully sort it or tomorrow.

Is this a coupe? If so that is VERY cheap, especially for a diesel 330 and a facelift. Great cars, you'll love it!
