When you enter your house, do you use the front door or back door?

Even though front is the obvious choice, I know a lot of people use the back door.

In my house we are forced to use the front door really (terraced house) but at my parents old house we always used the back

only if she lets you and you have lube then the back door is preferable

We always used the back door until we got a gate which you can't open from the outside. I don't know why we did this as front door was obviously easier, only valid reason i can think of is that by the front door we had carpet, so during the winter months it would get all muddy etc.

I don't really know which is classed as front on my house. At my mum's we used the back door though which had a clockroom type bit rather than using the front and walking shite all over the front room carpet.

back door for me. its easier to park and use the back door than walking all the way round to the front door

at my old house we used the back because it was a terraced row and the house faced the wrong way. so had no access.
semi now so front. back has no access

Driveway is at the side of the house towards the back so we go in through the back door which leads into the kitchen.

agreed. it seems that the stereotypical coronation street style houses are common up there, with their 10ft concrete rear gardens and roman roads.
