Say I've got a couple of large knives to get rid of (I think they're from when my dad worked at a bakery honks ago).
Where would I dispose of such items
p.s Im not thinking about selling them to any local gangs.

Cooking knives? Are they any good or are they just scrap?
You could just take them to your local recycling center and dump them in the metal skip.

cut them down, and bin them at local tip.. not worth the hassle.. of keeping them , unless you like soap on a rope.

Just in the bin? They're just not needed, I'll never cut anything that requires a knife with a blade the length of my forearm

Bit strange really, put them in the bin. Make sure you clean the blood and fingerprints. I have some lime and a shovel in my for sale thread

Obviously not just thrown in the bin. Blade into a bit of wood or something but aye I doubt I'd go to any great lengths.
