Been offered a Almera 1.6 CA16 engine and turbo conversion with everything ready to drop into a K11 micra for £500.

Engine, Turbo, manifold, piggyback 5th injector, intercooler, pipe work... everything.

All ill need to do is buy a micra and drop it in, wiring in the almera loom and plumb all the bits in.

Tempted but its just a micra and wondering whether i should

Opinions?

I think i'd feel a twat telling people i drive a turbo micra!

Is little bandit still on the go? Remember seeing vids of it at crail etc a good few years ago

edit : just answered my own question, got curious and googled it and found a build thread on Track Scotland. According to AK it was killed at Knockhill and the engine now lives in an almera

Go for it if you can.

I think they look nice when they are lowered on some little fat wheels.

Do it and leave it completely standard externally, i.e. wheel trims etc. Ultimate sleeper.

you'll love it.

uprate the suspension or it will be lethal.

I keep thinking about another, but really i think it'd be like sleeping with an old girlfriend.

They do however rust worse than my pumas.
