Ive bought sum coilover and ive fitted then jacked it down and there rubbin on my speedlines any one had problems like this before ive had to put 3mm spacers on

Having to run spacers with coilovers is quite common, most just use 5mm spacers to clear them.

I had to put 5mm spacers on mine and still couldn't get the camber right without rubbing them. Lost my patience with them to say the least

take out the helper springs and it will clear your wheel

no pal the helper spring is so when there is no weight on the car the spring is still tensioned or if you get a shorter spring and wind the coilover body up it wont catch i had the same problem and run spacers so i am buying new 400lbs springs 6 inchs long

i did mine today, removed the helper spring to clear the wheel, see my thread :

Removing the helper spring actually lets you go lower.

Right done the helper springs spot on now there rubbin on my 1.8 calipers on one side do i need 2.0 or back down to 1.6? Doin my head in now

what are rubbing just the callipers on the wheels ?
they shouldnt catch on speedlines if there 16"

The calliper cant be fitted correctly or its the wrong one

In my opinion I would stick the helper sprins back on and buy some 5mm spacers had to fit them for my gaz coilovers

i had same problem m8 lowered my corsa down on my cesaros and touched wheel so had to get spacers and same with my m8s corsa think most people have 2
