After the rioting and the Olympics coming up do you think they have been put through some serious training?

Copper from todays raid in Tottenham.

Looks exactly like a normal cop with some trendier clothes and a balaclava.

Reinforced titanium watch is that so he can still tell the time if he's blown up?

They aren't police.

Ignore the Velcro "Police" tabs.

Bit concerning, all the conspiracy about "Something happening at the games". Some nut-job is most likely to try because of the hype.

But they would except they would take measures too, like carrying guns and next thing we know, were America.

I highly doubt if they are police.

Also balaclava seems a bit hypocritical, is it not illegal to wear one nowadays

imo they are an elite task force after professional runners. They like speed and are guaranteed to go down the hardest possible way so make sure you've got your funderwear on. We find 'em we take 'em as a team and we bring 'em back. And above all else we don't ever, ever let them get into cars.

The siege was on Tottenham Court Road, Camden, not in Tottenham. TCR is central London, right next to Oxford St.

And that article is nonsense. What makes you say that they aren't Police?

I'm also going with non-police. Think about it, few weeks before Olympics, first thing Cameron would do is order the SAS in to clean it up as fast as possible if there was a hint of a bomber taking hostages in London. Far to risky to send in a faggy copper. SAS proved themselves the experts during the embassy siege and are probably on standby in the capital for exactly this reason

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

They're CO19 or SO15. Not SAS. Cameron is as much use as a chocolate teapot, he took days to get back when the country was in flames, he's not going to get the SAS out after a three hour standoff.
