Never used one in my life and call me thick etc whatever.... but I'll be wanting to use it to wash the car, (hold on this aint what I'm getting at)...and will want to use Snow Foam (SF). Obviosuly put the SF into that 'bottle' then what does that attach to?
Yes I've got my Flame Suit on.

into the handle, where the long pole goes, you can see they both have the same end bit, push in and twist to lock

So the cable thats going round the 'bottle' plugs into the front (where the side exit is coming from) then other end goes onto bottle?

Must be something to do with the nozzle, the snowfoam bottle will cost you more than that pressure washer.

They aren't the same as the snow foam bottles, there can't be much difference, must just be the nozzle.

I've got a Karcher that does the job perfectly. Was about Ł200 including extra nozzles and shizzle.

I'm not that up on them Nathy, just know that the snow foam bottle things are expensive.
I went for a Karcher that was on offer in Costco for Ł240.
Looked at the cheaper ones but knew I'd only regret it.
Nilfisk are a good brand.

To get a decent foaming(without using extra concentrate of snow foam) you need minimum 400 litres per hour flow rate.

The one I've posted above from amazon is 440 litres per hour max water flow.

With that and a good quality foam like magnifoam you'll be ok for quality thick foam. Just experiment with the foam/water mix until you get it right.

If you're on a budget I'd recommend a Nilfisk Nath They are fantastic value for money! + The snow foam lances fit onto them
I've got this one -
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-X-Tra-Pressure-Washer-Cleaner/dp/B001TUYV1O/ref=sr_1_1?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1338366526&sr=1-1
Its very small but I use it at least once a week and have never had a problem with it. Can't fault it

Perfect recommendation is what I was after, that's the one I was looking at. It comes with that lance aswell doesn't it? So all I have to do is pour the liquid into tht and voila?

That Nilfisk one looks good, and the price is much cheapness too. How do they rate against the expensive Karcher ones?

The bottles which come with the pressure washers just spray out soapy water and a few bubbles
I've got the Nilfisk linked by shaunmods, along with http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/snow-foam-lance-various-fittings/prod_371.html

i have this snowfoam lance comes with 5L of snowfoam too which lasts ages as you water it down a bit when you put it into the bottle
http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/index.php/autobrite-heavy-duty-foam-lance-super-snow-foam-combo.html
i also have the nilfisk pressure washer that is posted above and can highly recommend them both. nozzle on the snowfoam lance can be adjusted so you can choose how foamy it gets. oh and its the bayonet style fitting you need, its the same as the alto/kew fitting

the karcher ones i've had have always broken after about 1-2 years, whereas my nilfisk i've had several years with no problems
