Bought my second pair of Dr Martens last week. My first pair are ankle boots (Manton's) and took some time wearing in and are now really comfy. These were a test pair before I bought the proper big ones (1460's)
Just looking online now for best way to get them worn in and most results say piss in them  
I mean seriously, wtf!

I grew up in the village these were made before they were outsourced to china.
Even with that in mind, I haven't seen anyone wearing a pair for about 10 years.

1460s are a bit too 'punk' for my liking. Some of their other stuff are alright though.
Robin - I think they still do a range that are still 'Made in England'; could be wrong though.
