I'd personally rather have higher mileage that's had all the work done as I didn't know Type R's needed all this at that mileage? The VTEC must be good for 150k easy?

If I had to choose one it would be the red one but the preface lift fronts are dull as fuck lookin IMO.

Silver is better, lower miles, newer and has had the geometry setup with good springs. same setup i have and it drives much better for it. they leave the factory with wonky geo in 70% of cases.
Timing chain at 100k etc is aload of ball. if its been looked after it will all be fine. big service at 75k including valve clearances. £350 tops though.
So silver with money off for lacquer peel on bumper and no ac ;-)

The steering rack is a cheap fix if you D.I.Y it. Its a bit of a mare of a job though.

you done one before? Mines clonking a bit on full lock now since its abuse at mallory park. just need to find out if its that or a drive ahaft. Got spares of both so no biggy :-)
