sold the 18s and put LMs on colour coded, sold them and put 16" crappy winter things on, finally bought a brand new set of MV4's from BMW and had my new tyres delivered:

needs dropping on front, and centercaps fitting as they are 2mm too small grrrr!

all we need is some sun now to use it!

what you think?

Absolute ideal situation if those are the wheels you're wanting, but brand new from BMW seems a bit zany assuming they're readily available to buy 2nd hand and be powder coated?

Not a touch on the LM's

What offset are they? iirc it's quite low so you won't have much space to play with on a drop if at all.

Are you going to powder coat them body colour?

I cant believe people dont like these, why would he spray them the same as the car lol? Surely that's a wind up.

Them on the car, in silver, is by far better than most wheels out there. Looks really classy and a hell of a lot better than those LMs. The car shouldnt be looking modified, it suits being clean and those wheels are perfect for it.

Seth these are about 37? But are 8 inch fronts with 225/35 tyres and 9j rear with 255/30 tyres do loads of room for a nice drop

I was going to put on 235s and 255s as they were 70 quid less but was worried they would look ballooned

LM's would have loked better if they were all silver imo, not a fan of coloured centres. So i prefer the ones on it now

You don't need sun to drive it, man up. As long as there is no precipitation that roof should be down Miss my one

mv4's are lovely wheels but they just look strange on an e46. my neighbour has them on his e9? (unsure on model code) convertible and they're perfect.

I think they look smart as they are similar to standard, mine just needs lowering an inch now

Those 5 twin spoke 313 (?) style ones look odd though

ET37 all round? So many varying interwebz stories about fitment ffs.

I did have MV3's and MV4's on my shortlist but after looking at some pictures the MV3 is a no go IMO.

Need another pic with centre caps on.
