Not the centre ones with the pin that goes through the mount. Im after the plastic cup ones that clip onto the ball part of the s shape linkage, which are held in by circlips. Are these available anywhere?

A lenght of threaded bar, a few nuts and two of the above rose joints. They made a hell of a diffrence to my gear change.
A crap picture of my old one.

I just used new GM cups on the bottom bits, then I used the joints on the bit's in the picture. They really do give nice gear change.

theres a company who sell those linkage bits(the rose jointed bit ) but they are £20 if i remember, do they really make a difference then that bar and rose joints added with a quick shift? planning on doing something similair to my 1.2 8v

It's got metal bar on the top of mine, rose joints all round should sort it out nicely which is what I think I will do. Ideally prefer a full quaife shifter, but they're millions of pounds sadly.

so could these me made to fit in the linkage to replace the crappy plastic bar then? id assume you'd have to get rid of the 2 spherical bits on the brackets to put these through? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260950659553?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

thats kinda the same as what the metal bar does really as it connects to the ball on top, and looks like that afterwards. its adjustable the one i have.

should be on quaife site still. they were around £400+ vat for the in car part, then its additional for all the connecting rods and the helicopter joints if i remember right. comes to over £700+ vat and postage for a fuckin gear linkage.

its a bloody fortune all in for every part, vat and postage aint it? tbh i don't think its worth it at all, completely ridiculous money for a gearlnkage.
