After seeing the prices rise and rise, I've finally taken the plunge and booked my flight to Australia.

Sold my car and left my job and now have two weeks to clear my flat and get gone!

Aim to stay with family and a mate who's also out there in Perth while working. Its a 12 month working holiday VISA.

Its a hell of a decision to make but hopefully it will pay off while I'm still young!

British Airways from Newcastle to London Gatwick, then Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong, then same again to Perth. 2hours then 5 hours wait times. Not too shabby!

Went to Aus last year; Sydney, Gold Coast, Noosa, Hervey Bay. Have mates in Perth but unfortunately didn't have enough time to get that far west.

Cracking country, enjoy.

I spoke to yet another person at the weekend who went over for a year, found out the grass isn't always greener and came back after a couple of months.

I went for a month and I would deffo say the grass is deffi not greener IMO. I travelled all the way up the east coast and as much as the weather is nice the people get more retarded the further up the coast you go.

You have to get into the way they live over here, if you go over and continue to live like you do in the UK you won't enjoy it. Like on the stupid pomsinoz wbsite, stupid housewives moaning there is no m&s or something stupid like that.
