Back in december near christmas time i was going down a narrow farmers lonning only wide enough for one car.

Was very frosty at the time and a thick layer of ice covered the road which i didnt notice at the time and basically another car came the other way and we hit not bad perhaps 20mph we bounced off each other he hit the hedge causing the most damadge to his car (the opposit side to where I hit)

Now seven months later ive got a lovely letter saying they want to claim off me........It was obvisouly a company car as its in a companys name from glasgow. I am no longer with the same insurance company and I no longer own that car anymore.

what should I do might ignore it for 7 months and get back to them then the cunts

do they have any proof that you hit their car? i'm guessing, since it was down some obscure road, theres no cameras or witnesses so it's your word against theres.

It will probably end up 50/50.

No witnesses so one persons word against the other so not really in his best interest to claim.

Tell your previous insurance company, they'll deal with it, you can't just ignore it.

Like John said, you need to tell your previous company.

It will probably be disputed, cause a load of issues and eventually end up 50/50.

incorrect, insurers blaime companies that deal with credithire/creditrepair/pi for insurance going up but what they fail to mention is 80% of credit repair/hire and PI is refered by INSURANCE COMPANIES...

so if they started dealing in house rather than sending it to companies that charge excessive rates to avoid the paperwork and get a nice kickback each claim they pass on then insurance would be cheaper.

but if your in a accident come to me bro's

So by not putting in a FALSE INJURY CLAIM they wont have to go through all that thus meaning the huge cost's resulting in insurance prices going up to compensate it

Accidents are staged because of companies that will take them on.

Normally i would agree, but on this occasion, ignore it, you could have moved on from there or anything, was it recorded post? Doubt it. Obviously dont have any details from your car or would have your address on it with the correct name etc.

Probably self insured and trying it on.
