After my thread the other day for suggestions on what car to buy, me and the wife have ignored you all, traded the ST170 wagon in and bought something completely random.










2.0 CDTI 160 SRI

It's massive boot is huge, bonnet is huge, loads of room inside.

It's pretty much exactly what we were looking for, even though we hadn't actually considered an Insignia.

Done 45k miles, has got everything we wanted spec wise and is still quick enough for us to both enjoy driving.

Massive sensible old man car at 26!

It will, the Focus wasn't starting properly and the EML was on, this is better.

I admit it'll probably get stuck, but we'll deal with that.

also, with a remap (which it will soon be having) this engine is good for 210bhp and 360lb/ft, if not slightly more, so it'll be fairly quick too, not that it's slow now, faster than you'd expect for a big barge.
