If you read up on what the mayas were like youll see they done more than carve pictures into walls.

Not trying to argue they are real although i dont see why hoax artifacts would be created. i think they are legit.

The proof is in the pictures. I dont see why an ancient civilisation would leave behind artifacts with pictures of ET, ufos etc, a suns coronal hole etc.

Nasa have all this technology which can record activity around the solar system, yet no one has found ancient civilisation technology which helped them observe the stars, a thousand years ago.

Imagine our civilisation dies out, and in a few hundred/thousand years someone finds the ruins and a in there is indipendence day on VHS. They're not going to think we were invaded by aliens.

They are more than cave paintings, and how did a civilisation with little to no technology that we know of manage to know about all the planets and stars.

A vhs will degrade over time. No way will one last. Are you saying these tablets are an ancient way of making a movie.

Exactly. It's known that civilizations even before the Mayas wrote stories using drawings.

Whenever I read these I try and research properly to gain an opinion, and always run into the same stumbling blocks, in this instance its a coincidence that although this race which apparently had so much ability and technology ahead of its time a) died out due to unknown reasons; drought, over population, disease, peasant uprising ??? And b) most of their society/artifacts was destroyed by invaders.

I 100% believe we are not the only life forms capable of intelligent thought, however I doubt they managed to visit without leaving behind much more substantial evidence of their presence.
