I wouldn't say it "tastes" any different, more that it still looks pink as fuck and doesn't brown up at all, but totally edible if you're into undercooked looking bacon. Also makes a fuckin mess of the inside too unless you cover it.

I'd rather go hungry than cook stuff in the microwave. Rank.

Smells awful cooked in the micro.

When i do have bacon its normally grilled so the fat turns crispy

Place a stack of paper towels over and under the bacon. The fat has no where to go in the micro, so you'll want something to drain it.

With this method you can easily get it crisp, provided the micro has enough power.

It tastes all right, but is of course no match for throwing it on a grill.

Trust me on this. I'm Danish, I know all about bacon...

Is it not the same as boiling it, which is rank? Not sure I would want to try it. I have my bacon really crispy. I bake it in the oven for ages so that it shatters when you bite it.

It ends up tasting like McDonalds bacon IMO, basically like plastic. Not good.

I cook it in the micro all the time. You lot must have odd microwaves because mine tastes like bacon, does not require oil so is technically less fattening.

Don't see the issue.

Can you cook bacon in a toaster. Would be like a double sided grill.

You can make cheese on toast in the toaster if you stand it on its side

Toaster would end up fucked with fat dripping all over the place.

Most would just drip down into the crumb tray.

Frying it in what?

It may be healthier in the sense there are less calories or less fat but in no way is it better for you to nuke your food rather than cook it properly.
