I bought one a couple of weeks ago and really like it. Loads more toys than my EP3.

I underestimated just how hard you need to drive them if you want full performance out of it, but once you get used to it its very rewarding.

Was away to Inverness for the weekend just there and learned a lot of how best to drive it had great fun

I had one for 3 months when they were launched back in 2007.
Ride was very firm from memory, but drove well and handled ok. Build quality inside wasnt as good as Honda are known for with alot of the plastic feeling quite brittle?

I'll be honest, getting it into vtec to overtake anything (I mean buses, bikes, stationary parked cars ) gets a little bit boring.

I've been eyeing up a flashpro map for a while, brings vtec in at ~4500rpm with the stock map which should make the car a little more drivable in realistic situations.

I think the handling and feel of the car is brilliant, I love throwing it around but I'm blessed with an LSD model which allegedly are significantly better to drive than the non-LSD ones. I'd like to drive a non-LSD one to see for myself though!

It's a bit stiff over bumps, alot of the guys on civinfo swear by the eibach -15mm spring set for improving the ride but I've had a couple of warranty fixes on my suspension so far (leaking shocks) so I'm not going to change my springs until I'm sure that's fixed for good.

I'm not arguing with this, but why not? I'm genuinely curious as the civinfo guys all honk about the flashpro maps and specifically the lowered vtec crossover for "more accessible" power.

I know what forum bandwagoning can get like, so I'm interested to hear the opinion of an "external".

Which Mugen was it? The M200 is exactly the same as the standard CTR-GT in terms of performance it's just got some of the aesthetic tat stuck to it.

The M20 (only 20 of them) had actually been tuned by Mugen - think it's 2.2 NA with a ton of money thrown at it. Overpriced as hell

After market management with a exhaust and filter will make a difference and give you more mid range
