Anybody got a cure for this? I go to bed around 12 and get up at 8, tried going to bed earlier/later and getting up earlier/slightly later, but can't get up on time and I'm always shattered. Back to school tomorrow which will compound the fucking problem!

Thanks for any help!

Ok, go to bed normally at 12. Babysitting my wee brother cause he won't sleep while my mum gets the uniforms ready for tomorrow.

I do already mate. Eat to a set schedule every week (uncle's gf is qualified in this), and I clock up about 20 miles walking every week.

Its just discipline and routine. I can be up at any time of the morning without an alarm, went through a phase of planning to be up at 6am, no alarm, not tired, ready for the day, but you need to be strict.

If I was flexi-time, I'd get up now and go to work so i could finish earlier this afternoon.I'm completely awake but as it is, I'll spend the next 2hours trying to sleep and then I'll doze off not long before my alarm goes off, then I'll be forced to wake up again and I'll feel shit all day-what a joy to look forward to!!

Not even sure why I'm awake, nothing on my mind, worked out in the garden last night so got plenty of exercise, ate early and had a bath before bed-normally I'd sleep like a baby

Turn your laptop/computer off, I used to end up late whenever I went on mine at night, not good when I start work at anytime between 3.30am and 6am

I used to be majorly like this.

Since cutting out fuzzy drinks and having water is much easier, and everything's so clearer in my head

You need to chill out for an hour or so before bed, so thats turn the computer etc off, read a book or something instead, if there is anything on your mind write it down for in the morning. Works 9 times out of 10. I just woke up 5mins before my alarm.

Buy some jack3d and have a scoop before bed time. That will put you right to sleep.

Go to bed earlier. Midnight seems a beit mental on a school night?

Set alarm with plenty of time to get up and ready and make sure you get up when it goes off. After a couple of mornings it will get easier.

When I know i've got to be up early and realise its past 1am, I use an app called Sleep Cycle, it wakes you up gently, rather than a loud alarm clock that wakes you from a deep sleep. It's brilliant. Used it last night actually, went to bed at 2ish, woke up at 7am and feel fine, not even had the first coffee yet either!

Sort your life out.. Go to bed at a reasonable time and wake the fuck up in the morning.. Everyone else has to do it.

Stop making excuses.

I am shit at sleeping. Partying all weekends doesnt help either.

Do you spend alot of time in your room before sleeping? This causes issue for me as I still live at home and use my bedroom as my living room due to parents being in all the time
