So, one of my colleagues says she'd like a second oven for her kitchen. Other colleague says he couldn't live with just two.
I say "JUST two? How many ovens have you got?"
And like I was some kind of dimwit and the answer was obvious he says "Well, four!"
Me: "Why????"
Him: "So we're always sure there's enough!"

Then he goes on to tell how it looks fantastic, the kitchen becomes more symmetrical and - and this really got me laughing - how it also serves as a mirror, which is practical.

Am I being daft? I've never seen a kitchen with two ovens, but could imagine it would be practical if you have a huge family or cook A LOT. But fucking 4??????

Lovely kitchen that is. I love cooking, but would never need to cook with 4 ovens. 2 at a push!

Ovens cost a small fortune when they're on too. Imagine them on all at once. Electric meter would be about to take off it would be spinning so quickly!

That's a really nice kitchen, shame it's got a halogen hob and not gas though. It is useful to have two ovens when cooking up a big meal, I've never felt the need for four though!

I would rather chop my own baws off and feed them to the dug than have 4 microwaves.

Nope. Asked him if they cooked a lot, he said it was probably pretty standard for a family of four. Not really in to cooking either, but his two girls "love to bake".

He's by no means loaded. Pretty standard kitchen over here. Said it was 4K from IKEA, down from 15K though.
Agree it looks good, bar the unreasonable amount of ovens. Colour is different, but nice.

Oh, and circuits can't handle all four turned on at once. Two on full power and one on medium is the max they've achieved without cutting power...

Quite common to have two smaller ovens now rather than one big one, as said you can have two competely different things going on in them, not both going at 200 degs
