I do have one questions. How does the turn by turn mapping compare to the TomTom app? I assume you cannot predownload any required mapping so it is going to be fairly useless in Wales or foreign lands!

Traffic is no where near as good as google. It has one bit better where it tells you something about why there is a delay i.e. "Accident" but it doesn't tell you which lane.
There is no indication of whether they have traffic data or not so you can't tell if its clear or they just don't know. The actual maps are ok.

Question,
The computer i have has itunes, backed up files, etc etc but for some reason the internet has become that slow ive never updated since 4.3.3.
Can i create a new account on another computer, download itunes, back up my iphone on my slow internet computer, reset phone back to factory to remove the jailbreak, update to ios6 using the new account on another computer and load the back up from the slow internet computer.
Will that cause any issues in any way? It wont reinstall the 4.3.3 firmware? And will there be any issues with future downloads, music, apps etc?

I think you need to update iTunes to support iOS6.
Why don't you just copy your entire iTunes library (including backups) to the new machine?

I can download itunes file from the fast pc and transfer the setup file to the slow one.
Ive got too much music, and itll take forever.
Downloading music isnt as bad, but the wireless dongle usually cuts off and loses the signal when attempting to download update files.

why not use icloud?
I cant remember the last time I plugged my phone into itunes.
Been using it for a few days, theres a few nice small changes, facebook/twitter integration is good and will add your friends birthdays to the calendar app which is also good.
Maps is ok, but you can tell its still in its infancy stage, also I dont think its cached, so dont expect to use it like a tomtom with weak signal.
DND is a good feature and am currently using it.
The re-designed App store is much better and the panoramic camera mode is a long overdue great feature.
Apple was also right to drop the youtube app, Googles own youtube app is much better.
I think the same will happen with Maps, google are bound to want a slice of that back and will probably eventually release their own maps app with turn by turn directions for IOS.
Competition is good.
