Why's that? Any AWD car, scooby, evo, etc can bog down a bit when pulling away. Not really the cars fault you werent used to it.

Still compromised by being fwd and very heavy.

I'm a ford fan boy and even I can see they could've been so much better.

Dunno, not like iv worked on and tuned some of the fastest mk2 rs's out there.....

Seriously tho, I'm not a ford "fan boy" I could think of many other cars I'd rather have than an rs, usually with an ///M badge on them.

But the mk2 rs is a very caperble car with a lot of potential when compared to its competition.

Jesus christ man. People are entitled to their own opinions. No need to get the arse just because they don't agree with yours.

There very quick once rolling but off the line there pants. My mates old one was just over 450bhp and he said that there's a torque limiter on them in 1st so you don't blow up the gearbox. No idea if thats fact or not tho.

I've heard it's first and second in the ST so could be similar?

Yep, my st had the limiter in 1st and 2nd and that was shit off the line.

A set of front tyres wasted after 6k miles of traffic light gp's proves that.

Surely if there is a torque limiter in 1st and 2nd it would look after the tyres better as you can't put as much force through them
