You say this, but I highly doubt the seller there is actually making them.
Even when buying in stock from china etc I still struggle to see how people like that are making money. Especially when you consider ebay fees on top

Won a large book the other day, for £3, postage was £5. On the stamp you could see he'd paid £14 for postage

Margin will be pence, but if they're selling 20 a day, it amounts up.

They're £1.27 to buy(in bulk), dhgate isn't cheap these days either, so already can save.
Must be spending at least £2.00 on postage though, iirc its £2.27 atm, postal discounts aren't even that great when you bulk sell either.

Aye, waste of time to be fair, Probably find them for about 60-65p to buy in bulk, even then its still a waste of time.

I looked back along at cases and car chargers etc but complete waste of time imo for such little return.

Cheap because;
SAME DAY DESPETCH
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Companies on eBay do this purely to build feedback. If they make nothing, and even lose a couple of pence per item, the feedback is worth it in gold.
There's your answer..

what is ebay feedback worth?
amazing seller status on ebay isn't going to get you an early retirement/nice holidays/hookers/loads of coke...
So why bother?
Seems to me people will do it for good feedback just to please the internet

Do you not check feedback before buying an item?
Everyone I know does!
It also keeps the TRS status, which is also an extra selling point.

Depending on how much you sell, your fees reduce with x positive feedback a month, so can be worth a fair bit.

Yes I check feedback, but why have amazing feedback to sell things for a loss or few pence profit?

If you look at the higher priced items or two different sellers, would you chose the one with amazing feedback or average?
Also, the more feedbacks received gives discount on selling fees, which does make a difference.

I understand which one I would choose and the one with greater feedback would win..
But as a SELLER, if your making pence or a small loss. I see no gain in that?
Bit like saying I can sell 1000 iphone 5 contracts this month because I can do a crazy cheap deal and lose a few pence per deal. But hey atleast I will have great feedback?
